Curbsend ("we", "us") makes a quoting app for home-service contractors. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. It covers two groups of people: contractors who use Curbsend, and their customers who receive quotes from them.

What we collect

• Contractor accounts: name, business name, email, phone, license number, logo, pricing settings, answers to onboarding questions, and billing status. Card details are handled by Stripe; we never see or store full card numbers.
• Job information contractors enter: photos, voice notes and their transcripts, notes, job addresses, and quotes.
• Customer details contractors enter: the customer's name, phone, email and address, so the contractor can send them a quote.
• Quote activity: when a quote is opened, the option chosen, the typed name used to sign, the time, IP address and browser, and any deposit paid. This is the contractor's record of the approval.
• Messages: texts and emails sent through Curbsend, and replies to them, so follow-ups can stop when a customer answers and the contractor can see what was said.
• Basic technical data: logs our hosting provider keeps to run the service securely.

How we use it

• To run the app: build estimates, send quotes and follow-ups, take approvals and deposits, and show results.
• To bill contractors and send account emails, such as trial reminders.
• To keep the service secure and fix problems.

Photos, notes and transcripts are sent to our AI providers only to produce the estimate or message the contractor asked for. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use customers' contact details for our own marketing.

Text messages

Customers receive texts from a contractor only after giving that contractor their mobile number for the job. Messages are about the quote they asked for: the quote link and a small number of follow-ups. Message frequency varies by job and stops when the customer replies, approves, or the follow-ups end. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time and HELP for help.

Mobile numbers and SMS consent are never shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing purposes. They are shared only with the service providers that deliver the messages.

Who we share it with

Only the providers that run the service on our behalf: hosting and email delivery (Cloudflare), database and sign-in (Supabase), payments (Stripe), text messages (Twilio), AI estimates (Anthropic), and, if the contractor connects them, QuickBooks and Google's mapping services. We may also disclose information when the law requires it.

Customers of contractors

When you receive a quote, the contractor who sent it controls your information. Quote pages are private links and are marked so search engines do not index them. To change or delete your details, contact the contractor, or email us and we'll help.

Keeping and deleting data

We keep account and job data while the account is open so contractors have their records. A contractor can ask us to delete their account and its data at any time by emailing support@curbsend.com. Some billing records are kept as the law requires.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see, correct, delete or get a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of certain uses. Email us and we'll respond within 30 days.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit, access is limited by account, and each business can see only its own records.

Children

Curbsend is a business tool and isn't meant for anyone under 18.
